The Comprehensive Center for Criminal Justice located in the La Pila delegation recently inaugurated by State Governor Juan Manuel Carreras López and Judge Juan Paulo Almazán Cue, President of the Judiciary, received the LEED New Construction Gold Level Certification for achieving optimum levels of performance in terms of materials, construction processes, as well as energy and water savings, due to its low environmental impact. It is the first and only government building in the region, which achieves this international authentication.

By submitting the LEED 2009 New Construction and Major Renovations Gold level certificate, granted upon completion of 65 points, the President and CEO of U.S. Green Building Council Mahesh Ramanujam, told the Governor of the State that the Criminal Justice Center of San Luis Potosí is an example of sustainability that demonstrates its leadership in transforming the building industry, as well as its commitment to build a healthy and sustainable future .

The Integral Center of Criminal Justice La Pila, is an architectural work that was carried out in observance of high standards of security, modernity and functionality, being a reference in the application of the Accusatory Criminal Justice System in the State
