BIOCONSTRUCTION AND ALTERNATIVE ENERGY

The architect Ana Ruiz continuously advises and supports clients and the work team during the LEED Certification process through monthly visits to verify compliance with the strategies to achieve this international recognition. Also, review the materials used to meet the essential requirements and evaluate the areas of opportunity to obtain a better result.

In addition, Ruiz has a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Universidad Iberoamericana apart from obtaining a master’s degree in Advanced Sustainable Design from the University of Edinburgh with merits. He also has a Diploma in Interior Design from the Ibero-American University and another in Bioclimatic Architecture from one of the best universities in Mexico, UNAM, with honors.

Ana has been the sustainability coordinator during the construction processes of the steel structure and civil works, supervising that the construction processes that comply with the sustainable guidelines following the Indoor Air Quality plans, apart from having the LEED AP O + M accreditation (Operations & amp; Maintenance), as well as ESDAP Certification (EarthCheck Sustainable Design Accredited Professional).

Ana Ruiz has been designated by the USGBC as the USGBC Faculty since March 2019 to promote and train groups of people to improve the way buildings and communities are designed, constructed and operated.
