Project KAANA Residencial Apartaments

Metric Development Group, a real estate development company, received on May 25, 2017 the GBCI confirmation of having obtained the EDGE Design Certification, one for apartments and another for  penthouse, in its building KAANA, located in Cancun, Quintana Roo.

The EDGE certification obtained for the design of the apartment area and another for the design of the Penthouse area, represent different projects, according to the specifications of the evaluation system, despite being inside the same building. Both sections exceeded the minimum requirements that this evaluation created by the World Bank Group establishes.

In the apartment area, the KAANA building has a projected saving of 44% in energy, 20.5% in water and 21.1% embodied energy.

This newly created residential building promotes the creation of constructions committed to sustainability that provide benefits towards environment and society.
