BIOCONSTRUCTION AND ALTERNATIVE ENERGY
Mtra. Maria joined the Bioconstruction and Alternative Energy (BEA) team as a Green Building Consultant, supporting the process of projects seeking LEED certification, creating efficient spaces in their operation and reducing their impact on the environment.
In her experience, Muñoz has experience as a site resident (management of site personnel, subcontractors and construction activities), site control engineer and estimates (quantifications, generators, contracts and estimates) in federal works such as the Plant Wastewater Treatment Plant “Agua Prieta” for Conagua in Zapopán, Jalisco and at the “Empalme I” Combined Cycle Power Plant for CFE in Empalme, Sonora. Likewise, he has experience in the area of construction information modeling (BIM), making Revit models for the concrete and structural steel area of an international engineering firm.
Maria obtained a master’s degree in England specialized in sustainability and experience in sustainable design projects, as well as in the area of sustainability she has the experience of her participation in the National Laboratory for Housing and Sustainable Communities, where she developed the functions of implementation of the ISO 9001 certification, acquisitions of specialized equipment and software, and bioclimatic architecture and sustainability consulting and research projects. He is currently LEED AP BD + C certified.
