Project KAANA Penthouse

Metric Development Group, real estate development company, received on May 25, 2017 the GBCI confirmation of having obtained the EDGE Certification in Design, one for departments and another for the penthouse, in its residential building KAANA, located in the city from Cancún, Quintana Roo.

The EDGE certification obtained for the design of the department area and another for the design of the Penthouse area, represent different projects, according to the specifications of the evaluation system, despite being inside the same building. Both sections exceeded the minimum requirements that this evaluation created by the World Bank Group establishes.

In the Penthouse area, the KAANA building obtained a projected saving of 49.3% in energy, 20.4% in water and 25.3% in energy incorporated into the materials.

This recently-created residential building drives by example buildings committed to sustainability that provide benefits for the environment and society.
