Torre Cosmopolitan, a premium business-oriented building, achieved LEED Platinum Certification for Core and Shell v2009 in June 2016 , with 85 points, becoming the first project in Tijuana to achieve this recognition at this level.
From the planning of the building, Torre Cosmopolitan had an optimal materials and resources management that involved the correct use of water, energy and HVAC systems. With these systems, the building performs operations with low environmental impact and differentiates it from a similar construction by having greater benefits for the occupant than a conventional one such as higher indoor air quality and superior thermal comfort.
