RESERVA ESCONDIDA TORRE NOGAL
Centro Corporativo Esmeralda, a construction company with experience in commercial, residential and infrastructure projects, obtained on October 9 the LEED certification for New Constructions v2009 Certified level in its project Reserva Escondida Torre Nogal, located in Atizapán de Zaragoza, Estado de México.
Reserva Escondida Torre Nogal obtains this international recognition by strategically combining environmentally-friendly engineering and architecture that also meet the daily needs of the inhabitants. These sustainability strategies applied in this residential tower prioritize the saving of energy and resources, the quality of indoor air, the optimal use of water, among other fundamental aspects in the preservation of the environment.
Among the sustainable implementations of this project is the installation of more than 60 bicycle racks and the creation of green areas that promote recreation and physical activity, preserving common areas to be free of tobacco smoke. Likewise, a total saving in drinking water consumption is obtained for irrigation of green areas thanks to the treatment system and native vegetation. Finally, a green cleaning policy is implemented, which dictates that the cleaning materials must be friendly to the environment.
