ARCA CONTINENTAL EDIFICIO ORIENTE
Arca Continental, a company dedicated to the production, distribution and sale of beverages and snacks, received LEED certification for New Constructions v2009 Gold level, reaching 63 points, in its Oriente building, located in the city of Monterrey.
Under the “Campus Program”, the Oriente building becomes the third and last building in the campus to obtain this certification, preceded by the Poniente-Central and Norte buildings. This new building of more than 6,500 m² makes its operations with a low environmental impact, differentiating it from a conventional similar construction by providing greater benefits for the occupant such as higher indoor air quality and superior thermal comfort.
The Oriente building reached 63 points out of the 110 possible on the LEED scale, thus reaching the Gold level, leaving behind the “Certificate” and “Silver” levels. In addition, due to the strategies applied, this building becomes the most sustainable one within the campus.
