CASA DE COCIMIENTOS
Cuauhtémoc Moctezuma Heineken México (CM / HEINEKEN), a Mexican brewing group with the broadest portfolios in the market, received confirmation on August 30, 2017 from the U.S. Green Building Council obtaining the LEED Certification for new buildings v2009 at its “Certified” level for Casa de Cocimientos project, located in the city of Monterrey, Nuevo León.
Casa de Cocimientos combines sustainability strategies that seek a moderate consumption of resources in the activities of the building, at the same time that it provides an interior space superior to a conventional one and integrates harmoniously with its surroundings, converting this project as the first industrial facility with a beer business to obtain this prestigious certification in Mexico.
The “Certificate” level of the LEED Certification scale is the result of the synergy achieved by the members of the work team, obtaining 46 points; being “Sustainable Sites” the most awarded category of credits thanks to the strategies that promote alternative transport and connectivity with the city.
