Project BEA347 WELL Certification

Bioconstruction and Alternative Energy, a leading company in   Latin America for consulting services in green building, obtained on September 22 the first Certification in Mexico of the WELL Building Standard ^TM for its corporate offices called “BEA347” , located in the metropolitan area of Monterrey.

The innovative and demanding WELL Building Certification , developed by the International WELL Building Institute ^TM (IWBI ^TM ), is a performance-based building appraisal that combines the best global practices in design and construction with the purpose of positively impacting the health and well-being of the human being, thus increasing the concentration and productivity capacities, reinforcing the social meaning of its occupants.

The project of 430 square meters obtained this recognition by combining in a holistic manner architectural and engineering improvements, as well as modifications in the internal policies that resulted in the correct fulfillment of all the preconditions that the WELL Building Standard evaluation scale demands.

The fulfillment of the preconditions of the WELL Building standard, divided into 7 concepts (air, water, nutrition, lighting, physical well-being, comfort and mind), allowed this project to obtain this recognition at its Silver level.
